Lanfranco Vaccari was the editor-in-chief of a number of newspapers and magazines, including the weekly L’Europeo and the daily Secolo XIX, and deputy editor-in-chief of La Gazzetta dello Sport. He has also been foreign correspondent for daily Corriere della Sera and Tokyo bureau chief for Il Sole-24 Ore and a political columnist for Panorama. Currently he is editor-in-chief of the history monthly Mondo Nuovo.
