Vaccinating a large chunk of the world population is an almost impossible mission. The jump from laboratories to factories has been much more difficult than planned, setting off a race to primacy instead of sharing costs and benefits. Health systems from universities to hospitals, need to be reshaped; the entire medical and drug industry has to be reconverted.
