Stefano Pontecorvo is an Italian diplomat, former ambassador to Pakistan and NATO’s last man in Kabul. His bestseller “L’ulimo aereo da kabul” documented the way he helped facilitate airlifts and had a front-row seat to the Taliban take over. He is currently chairman of the Italian company Leonardo.
