Beyond the virus, poor infrastructures and insecurity are major problems. Also violent ethnic clashes are common. Health workers are in constant fear, and always in imminent danger. Since the beginning of 2019 there have been almost 200 attacks to healthcare posts, clinics and hospitals. Forcing health workers to suspend their activities giving the virus time to spread.
