Trump’s goal should be a deal that permanently deprives Tehran of the means to dominate the region, wreak havoc to the global economy, cast a nuclear shadow on world stability, and threaten Israel with annihilation. Anything less than that is just kicking the can down the road for the next president to deal with it. Ultimately, it will lead to a new conflagration.
