The world’s largest iceberg in the open ocean has knocked off a corner, perhaps as a result of striking the seafloor. It has travelled more than 1,500 km in the past 3.5 years to get up into the South Atlantic surviving the warm iceberg-killing waters. If it anchors at South Georgia, it could pose feeding problems for the island’s famous penguins and seals threatening the wildlife ecosystem
