The White House signing ceremony normalizing peaceful relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain is a historic accord and a net positive for regional relations, ending a decades-old taboo in Arab diplomacy as power and priorities shift in the Middle East. It will be called the Abraham Accord after the biblical figure often referred to as the father of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
