Europe has historically been at the center and forefront of the world’s technological innovation, creating progress and wealth for itself and the rest of the world. Then the United States took over, and now the race for supremacy is between China and the US. If the EU is to stay competitive it needs to engage its wealth of human resources and scientific know-how.
