In the Post-War period, liberal democracies had successfully opposed Soviet communism, offering a more attractive model of market capitalism. Now, the same like-minded countries would seem called to reinvent a transatlantic alliance founded on a more inclusive kind of capitalism. Yet, this wishful scenario now in progress under Biden’s impulse is not yet complete. Will this consonance on ideological issues translate into a consistent geopolitical vision ?
