Cost caused by extreme climate events is exponentially growing. So does the cost induced by efforts to decarbonize global economy. A sharp-witted update of green targets, including means and times to achieve them is needed to avoid the expected bottleneck. Technology can help, but without a coherent plan it ends up in the illusion of energy sovereignty especially in Europe.
