Progress means doing something nobody else has ever done. Notwithstanding humans predict what the future will be like reinventing their memories. It’s the principle of Sci-fi, inventiveness and vertical change. So, in the current space race, Beijing’s memory of US space leadership matters. Yet, science memory – and futurology too– helps the US envision what it will be like to do things it hasn’t done before.
