Green Hydrogen’s dilemma

Hydrogen combustion does not cause carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, but only water vapor. It is therefore less polluting, but the same cannot be said of its production. To extract it from water, natural gas, oil or plastic waste, it is necessary to use energy from fossil fuels. Other sources are even more expensive.
