We are sorrounded by an incalculable number of viruses and diseases, whether these are from interspecies contamination such as from bats or birds or ticks. For humans some are potentially deadly and extremely infectious. Now that we are more aware of the possibilites of pandemics we are also realizing our weaknesses.
