Seventy years on, the communist seizing of power and the birth of the People’s Republic of China are still the founding ideological narrative of contemporary China. Trough much pain and suffering China has transformed itself and now stands on the verge of greatness. Yet for China’s rise to continue its model can’t remain the same. China and the world are changing and the next few decades may prove to be the most challenging of all.
