The problem is not whether the bushfires have been deliberately lit up or not: the real problem is that the severity and intensity of Australian bushfires cannot be easily stopped. Climate change does not create bushfires but it can and make them worse. It should be understood as a “threat multiplier”, rather than an independent variable. The first thing that pops up is that the Government was totally unprepared to face such a crisis.
