A recurrent drama

People are destitute, angry and tired of chavism. The latest Venezuelan effort to topple dictator Nicolàs Maduro is a pivotal moment in Latin American history. But this continent tends to have presidential systems that are at the same time fragmented, patronizing and ideological. As a result, in all of Latin America, there are serious signs of crisis in democracy.
