A significant portion of Iranians, both within the country and abroad, welcomed the war as an act of liberation, not aggression, by the US and Israel. They hate the bloody politics of the Islamic regime, the true enemy of the nation that has killed thousands of citizens. The youth is deaf to the mullahs’ call to enlist in defense of the regime, now relying on transnational Shiite militias.
