Like it or not, America’s strength is still the only chance to solve conflicts. This is the essence of Trump’s approach – deterrence before dialogue – as seen in Sharm el-Sheikh. The same principle, applied with patience and realism, should be hopefully extended to the other great conflict destabilizing the world: Russia’s war against Ukraine.
