In each individual, at any given moment, the diversity of the BCR and TCR proteins reflects the history of the immune responses that the body has built throughout life. This diversity has thus a different shape for each individual. Machine Learning for Immunological Diagnosis (Mal-ID), based on detection of shared sequences from individuals with the same condition, could now help the diagnosis of diseases, including autoimmune diseases.
